Help our Garden Grow

2018, Waltham, MA

Built for the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Arts, “Make our Garden Grow” is a performance piece fueled by the inherent kindness of Human Nature.

Directed by an instructional panel, the viewer turns the handle of the gum-ball machine to release a pod with a compliment. Once experiencing an act of kindness, we are more likely to commit an act ourselves. 

By starting chains of kindness, a community becomes a kinder place.
